More than 35 years of experience in the Automation and Robotics industry.

For the last 14 years, Director of Marketing and Business Development for EMEA at Yaskawa Europe, the EMEA Division of Yaskawa Electric Japan, a global leader in Drives, Motion Controls and Robotics with over 100 years of industry experience and a turnover of around 4 billion euros.

In my leadership roles at Yaskawa Europe, I was responsible for EMEA Sales and Product Management within the Drives Motion Controls Division, led the Group Marketing Team spanning 23 units across EMEA and oversaw the Value Stream Motion. I held full leadership and KPI accountability throughout these roles. Additionally, I served as an Advisory Board Member for Yaskawa in the Iberia, Benelux, and Nordic regions. As representative of the headquarters I played a pivotal role in Innovation and strategic Investments in Start-up Companies.

Before joining Yaskawa, I had a successful 21-year career with Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 Company and global leader in Motion and Control technologies. My roles included Head of Product Management and Division Pricing Manager for EMEA, where I was responsible for product launches, market positioning and achieving sales and profitability targets.

I also held influential positions outside of corporate roles. I was Chairman Marketing & Communication of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) and served on the Advisory Boards of Deutsche Messe and Messe Munich. My involvement extended to European Union projects in Brussels and Berlin, where I championed the education of young professionals in STEM disciplines.

My expertise encompasses Leadership, Acquisitions and Due Diligence, Advisory Board Participation, Sales and Marketing, Business Strategy, Strategic Pricing, Product Management, and deep industry knowledge in Mechatronics, Drives, Motion Control and Robotics Technologies. I’m skilled in Project Management, Event and Exhibition Management and have a strong focus on Industry 4.0 initiatives.
